Self-Services Extended Access at Main Library

Self-Service Extended Access Now Available at Altadena Main Library!

With Self-Service Extended Access, you can access the Altadena Main Library and have full use of self-service activities outside of our normal operating hours!

We now offer Extended Access to Main:

Monday — Friday: 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. (not available on scheduled holiday closures)

When you register for Self-Service Extended Access, you have full use of all library self-service activities — including self checkout (Library of Things collection, magazines, and some video games not included), using library computers, printing, copying, scanning, faxing, Wi-Fi, hold pickup, and more. Or you can just come in and use the library space to work, study, read, and relax.

Self-Service Extended Access is made possible by controlled access to the library for registered cardholders, security cameras, timed locks, and speakers for announcements, and Self-Service Extended Access is provided with grant funding by the State of California and administered by the California State Library and in partnership with Bibliotheca, LLC.
